Description

As the complexity of clinical trial protocols increases, the feasibility of conducting them and the percentage of sites fulfilling the enrolment goal decreases. The use of RWD in study feasibility and site selection has been a growing area of interest to improve and streamline processes, to accelerate innovation for eligible patients. The Centre Léon Bérard (CLB) and TriNetX have joined forces with a common goal to broaden trial access to patients by combining their capabilities and enable data driven trial opportunities. The use case to be presented shows how the alliance between the early development of AI based structuration at CLB and TriNetX capabilities through its global research platform, can support clinical research and patients access to medicine. CLB is a historical pioneer in the use of data in the context of care - research continuum, as proven by its key contribution in developing the ConSoRe program. CLB Data Factory launched in 2021, leads numerous AI based applications such as NLP extraction from clinician notes or automatic detection and structuring of tissue and molecular biomarkers to expand the scope of interconnected, structured and queryable data. TriNetX is a global federated network of healthcare organizations and life sciences companies driving real-world research to accelerate the development of new therapies. Through its HIPAA, GDPR, and LGPD-compliant platform of federated EHR, TriNetX supports its worldwide community in improving protocol design and streamlining trial operations.
